We love to hear from our guests and we know you will too.

Feedback from our customers is our best indication of a job well done and really sets Koinonia apart from the rest.

‘The camp was a lot of fun, activities were great, it was a terrific experience.” Matthew Van Eden Year7 Student.

Smiles on their faces, exhausted and tired with many stories to tell their families about their camping experiences is what we as staff see when our students board the bus leaving Camp Koinonia.

For the past eight years the year 7 cohort from Ipswich Grammar has always been involved in a water based camp. Trying to find venues that offer activities we require has been a challenge.

Being situated by the sea, Camp Koinonia was the perfect choice when looking for a camp facility. The friendly staff, especially Craig and Marie, were excellent in helping put together an activity plan that the students really enjoyed. These activities were challenging and allowed a number of students to participate in activities which they may not have experienced before.

With so many great activities the students were really excited to play the Laser Tag at night and enjoyed the visit to the Air Museum to view and get a better understanding of the F111.

A big thanks must go to all the staff at Camp Koinonia and the instructors who make the camp as enjoyable as it is.

I have used Camp Koinonia over the last 6 years for our year 7's annual camp; although our school has used this camp for over a decade for various activities and camps. The facilities allow great interaction between students and the activities build strength, resilience, and socialisation with a sense of belonging. The environment of Camp Koinonia provides a safe setting that allows staff to achieve the goals of any visit. The staff at Camp Koinonia are first rate. The camp experience offered by Koinonia has become a tradition in our school that is highly valued. If you are looking for an off campus experience like this, you can't go past Camp Koinonia.

Attention: Educators, parents and community members of the North Coast of NSW.  I would like to thank Camp Koinonia for accommodating Alstonville High Schools Peer support program for the 4 years since I have arrived in the school in my role of Peer Support Co-ordinator.

I need to emphasise the ease of organisation that has been a result of the dedicated staff at Camp Koinonia - thanks Craig, Marie and Kate.  Understanding the many different options and changes that occur due to student numbers varying and often changing at the last minute due to late submission is a factor that has been easy to organise with the support from your team.

The activities are dynamic, engaging, promote participation and student enjoyment - I particularly liked the lazer skirmish this year.

Once again thanks for your ongoing support.  Look forward to the camp this year.

Kind Regards,

Ben Holmes
